Another day...

Being on a 3 day week has its advantages, although I dont have as much money to spend on quality parts, I do have time to get lots of work done on my own car's.
Today I got the full fuel system fitted and hooked up.Which includes this custom foam filled alloy 20L tank , a good few meters of braided fuel pipe and an inline Sytec fuel pump. These feed up threw a new toyota fuel filter , through a custom braided fuel rail pipe and up to the 16v rail and returns threw the original fpr. its all bolted in place and just needs a small custom firewall around the tank eventually....

As well as getting the fuel system completed , I got a start on the omex600 wiring and also cut and modified an origanl dash top to fit around the cage. The dash top is now ready for flocking. When it gets back to me I cant wait to see My custom Stack/Pivot gauge cluster dropped into it..Thats all for today, hopefully more shit gets done over the weekend.....Beer time x8 !!!!

**happy 86th post!!**

My newest shell I keep calling a Trueno was still technically a Levin until today ! Even though I have the Trueno bonnet and flared wings fitted, it still had the factory Levin headlamp bracket supports spot welded in place ,

I drilled out the five factory spot welds and offered up the Trueno headlamp bracket, all good, there's even a factory hole behind the Levin bracket to bolt the Trueno headlamp in place  (which I'll do again as I need to spray behind the drilled off brackets) which leads me to believe they are all Trueno's underneath lolz!!

Labour of love...

got a few bits done tonight in the garage

played around with the rear coilover's , a few mod's need to be done like grind down the top mount washer(not in picture) so that it fits into the top mount tube
and some trimming around the over-fender so moar low is possible.

I sprayed the bonnet hinges and fitted the fiberglass bonnet with  fresh stainless hex head bolts

Garage Hachi in 3D !

After looking at a few garages to properly set up shop I've finally found a nice place for me to call home.
Its a fair size and in good condition! So last Saturday and Sunday we started to clean up the place.

Pics from early Saturday

Plenty of space for us and potential GH customer cars..

Big thanks to Dave for all the sweeping and tidying up and to Sarah for her painting skillz!!!

Thankfully Dave had the use of a reliable Outback wagon for the weekend , so we got moving up some parts.

It's starting to take shape so after some more security upgrades this weekend the garage will be ready for the Trueno.

I'm just getting lots of small jobs done durring the week! I hope to get another good bit of the heavy work done this weekend!!

I modified an old Bride type v seat rail so that it will work with my Bride Zeta II

Now it justs needs a quick sand and some satin black rattle can pointed at it

get'er done

I got some of the heavy work done on my Trueno last weekend. The engine is sitting nicely on TRD engine mounts and the stock gearbag is also attached.

I also got the rad, fan and clutch master cylinder fitted
and lay down the loom for the standalone Omex ecu. I kept all the wire's tidy and located the waisted spark coil inside the car

lots of shiny aluminium on show

Ready to go.........

Hope'n to get some work done on the track car this weekend.

I got a standard t50 from jdm jap parts and Ive been working on tidying up my 16v all week.

I've the plug leads hidden away and a new plug lead cover fitted with shiny hex head bolts, I'm hoping to keep the neath and tidy look going threw out the engine bay and keep wire's etc to a minimum.

All shined up with lots of new bolts and washers and ready for some TRD engine mounting fun this weekend!!!
